This title is so good that I bought a copy for my wife. She isnt into RPGs, dungeon crawlers, roguelikes or CCGs, but loves both the aesthetics and concept of this game. Its solitaire with a hint of the foregoing for the imaginative nothing of the sort for others. It has something for nearly every personality type—an amazing feat. Elegant simplicity at its finest, and a two-person indie development team that is active in the online communities and has supported the game with a number of updates. Large studios, with all the resources at their disposal, almost never pander to their fans. These devs have and deserve to be rewarded.

Ill admit that I bought this around the time it was released, played it a few times, thought little of it, then deleted it. Recently, for whatever reason, I decided to put it back on the phone and now appreciate how addictive it can be. Good for quick sessions. Much risk involved. Beautiful graphics and sound effects. As you aim to unlock more abilities and chase high scores, youll be entertained.

Really enjoying this game. The game plays out in sort sessions as you use the cards the dealer gives you to battle the monster cards the dealer lays out. The challenging becomes not only defeating the enemies but achieving a high score. You can unlock new ability cards and choose which five you will use in the run. Very fun with a dash of RNG that makes each run fun.

No frills solitaire dungeon experience. I love it. Little bit luck, little bit skill, all fun. I have a couple of tweaks Id like to see: Player total gold should be visible during a match (or pause screen). And there should be a speed button, sometimes waiting for card animation is clunky. Overall fantastic game. Just what Ive waited for. I can totally see this being played with a real deck in a medieval pub. Awesome.

I always have a really good time playing this, perfectly short and sweet when waiting around for something, but enough depth to really keep you playing for awhile if youre in the mood. Highly recommended

A really fun and graphically distinctive card game. Solid gameplay with graphics large enough to see make this a winner. Wild cards get earned by accumulating coins in won games, and they stay in the deck permanently. Each game is very fun. I also have Zukus Quest which is another solid game of theirs. Update June 2016: Still playing this great game. Watch out for their new card game in development called "Card Thief".

playing this constantly. Simple to learn but hasnt gotten old after playing it constantly for the past week. Would love to play a physical version of this game.

The intuitive battle system never gets old.

This game is fast, fun, and addictive! Its simple to master and has great replay/continued play value. My most favorite features (and I cannot stress these enough) are that the app doesnt require additional purchases for lives and upgrades! The one change I request is that the should come equipped with a timeout function. My iOS devices run abashed. I fell asleep playing and the app kept running for some odd 10 hours, with my phone unlocked on the home screen for the game, and my iPhone was hot as Hades when I woke up. Please add the function for the game to timeout and my to lock. Thanks

Its so fun and beatiful at the same time

Im always digging through the App Store, searching for great indie games. Usually, I pick up half a dozen, and maybe one of them will be really fun. This little gem grabbed my attention and kept me playing for hours. I even went back to see if there were any other games by the same studio. Not yet, but I cannot wait for their next game, Card Thief, to come out. Card Crawl is the crazy awesome love child of solitaire and a rogue-like dungeon crawler. Crisp graphics, strategic gameplay, and unlockables give this game some serious replay value.

It is unplayable not due to it crashing every time I start a game in Constructed mode.

This game is great fun and a tremendously replayable gem for the price. Highly recommended.

Way too many times I win and the game just sits there doing nothing...

Leech and sacrifice are always worse than tame and devour. Maybe make them aoe so they could have some value. Also, the bush effect disappears randomly, usually after I use another ability card. Overall, good game.

This is my favorite I-have-2.4-minutes-to-kill game, and I havent regretted making this purchase. I havent stopped playing either. For two minutes, or a whole night, this game is flawlessly beautiful, gorgeously addictive, endlessly entertaining and perfect for anyone who enjoyed solitaire of any kind. Give it a go—I promise, youll never complain.

One of the perfect games out there that is an example of what makes mobile gaming so great. Buy it! Its an all-time great. I only ask that you bring back the deck merchant icon.
