Klara en 54-korts Dungeon genom att använda föremålskort, dräpa monster och hushålla med dina begränsade resurser. Varje runda kan du använda fem färdighetskort (minikortlek) för att få unika färdigheter. Genom att samla guld kan du låsa upp 35 extra färdighetskort för att få tillgång till nya taktiker och ännu högre poäng.
Card Crawls fyra singel-spellägen är förbättrade av Game Center för att låta spelare jämföra deras poäng och kortlekar. En normal spelomgång tar två eller tre minuter och är en perfekt "ett spel till"-upplevelse medan du står i kö eller pendlar.
